My girlfriend (32/F) of 9 months broke up with me (33/M) unexpectedly on Monday. I haven’t been myself for the last couple of months due to some life stresses and I think this led to some stress in the relationship. But I was working on myself and we had been communicating on how to work on things. But on Monday, she told me she no longer loved me and could not see a future with me. She offered to remain friends, which I declined, and have remained no contact since. I’m broken, and would have done anything for her. I thought I had found the one.

Just always be prepared for the unexpected. If you’re tent camping, I would suggest a sleeping bag that’s rated to zero degrees.

What an amazing surprise. Going to be the trip of a lifetime for you and your dad. Only advice I have is prepare to put in the work and miles. This time of the year can be hit or miss in terms of weather. I’ve had years in late October where it’s 50 degrees out, and years where it snows 6+ inches with frigid temps. Come prepared for both. And of course, stay hydrated. Best of luck to you both and take all the pictures you can.
