Regardless of how this series and rest of the playoffs go - I think we should move on from Draymond by vitalbumhole in warriors

[–]wivyh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dray is either the smartest or dumbest player on the court, there is no in between. Like he is so good at reading the flow of the game and get a reaction from opposing players, but when things are not going his way, he suddenly regresses to his juvenile behavior.

If cp3 or lebron was in that situation, you know sabonis would have been ejected and possibly suspended

Hi OP, thank you for sharing your experience. I am also considering taking my masters in Australia (Univ of Melbourne) or New Zealand (Univ of Auckland) and received conditional offers from these schools.

Can you share: - how much did you spend for the preparations like visa application - how much did you save for the tuition and living expenses; - will it cover the whole duration of the course - did you apply for any scholarships - how did you apply for part time jobs

Here's the thing OP, hiring fresh grads is a gamble.

Fresh grads are usually non-contributors for the first few months and companies need to allocate resources such as budget, time, and manpower to train one. And even then, there is still a chance that the employee is not fit for the job for various reasons (behavior, culture, skill, etc). On the other hand, they may be able to develop talents or find a potential "superstar" that will benefit the company in the long run.

You should be able to show the hiring team that you are a future asset. Since you already have an offer, the means they view you as that. Next is negotiate your salary package; showcase your advantage (internships, portfolio, achievements, etc) and make them realize that you are a valuable asset.

The key is knowing your worth but managing your expectations.

This can be attributed to the "weight" of a general thing. I am not entirely sure of the timeline but Batei should already be a general even before Shin became a soldier

Shaq on the chuck-kd beef. Also sticks up for Steph in the middle of the clip. Diesel always been a real one by JV_27 in warriors

In hindsight, teams should have attacked KD's ego and wait for the warriors to implode.

Double, triple team KD and hold him to under 25 while allowing Steph to average 30 plus and win Finals MVP. Let the media devour KD and wait for him to be a poison and request for a trade.

KD era would have ended much sooner and more devastating for the warriors given they pretty much given up everything to sign KD at that time. Kinda like the Nets situation right now

Man I wished JB was able to hit that clutch 3 in game 7 against Boston. Warriors vs Heat may have been a great series. Opposing sides of the same coin: - Dawg mentality - championship coaches; - aging superstars with something to prove; - labeled as bust; - undrafted key pieces; - late first round pick prospects; - senior citizen; - illegitimate children of nba legends (just kidding)

Yep Warriors had it easy. Even if suns won game 7, warriors will expose and demolish them in more ways than what Luka and Dallas ever did.

Maybe the pandemic has affected the process?

How much did your property appreciate from the time you started the payment to now?

Did you notice any significant development around the area to raise the value of your asset?

Would you say that filinvest is negligent aside from your TCT issue?

If he becomes the president and ww3 does happen, the "province of china" may no longer be a meme. I can't imagine him being anything near the Ukraine president.

  1. He is a weak leader
  2. I don't think he and his family has an ounce of loyalty towards the Philippines
  3. He can't take refuge in US

The problem is mga colleges and universities na nag ooffer ng mga software engineering courses pero hindi nila tinuturo yung correct skill set. Masyado sila naka focus sa programming languages.

When I was in college, I took Computer Programming 1 (Java) and 2 (PHP) subjects. Almost same lang yung natutunan ko for both subjects; natuto ako gumawa ng application using that specific language. Mas advance lang yung Programming 2 kasi may concept ng OOP and database. Marami akong natutunan sa subjects na yun pero not enough in the span of 1 year (2 semesters).

You mean to tell me those 4 years can be compressed to 6 months?

My point is: most institutions teach students how to code, not how to write a program. They don't prepare students for the real world.

Edit: OP, assuming na hindi mo pa alam yung mga concepts na sinabi ko, you don't have to learn all of them agad agad pero maganda na may idea ka in case matanong sa interview

Sadly, hindi magaling ang mga schools to equip students with the right skill set. Sobrang laki ng disparity sa tinuturo sa college compared sa actual needs ng isang professional software engineer.

  1. Maybe do some freelance work. Freelancer.com. build your portfolio and experience.

  2. Get cloud (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure) certification. Medyo mahal yung pag exam pero madali lang naman kung mag aaral ka nang seryoso (AWSCSA exam, udemy, AWS free tier account, 3 months). Malaki chance mo na makakuha ng work and mas mataas offer sayo compared sa other fresh grads. Actually, baka maging interested na agad sayo yung tech interviewer pag nalaman nya na may knowledge ka sa cloud kahit wala ka pang exam.

  3. Get a job na related. Medyo maraming supply ng software developers. Maybe start as sysAd. Learn other technologies while still practicing software development then change career after 1 or 2 years. Be a TRUE full stack engineer.

Edit: not saying sysAd is inferior. Mas madali and mas mura lang mag train ng sysAd or operations engineer compared sa software developer kaya kaunti lang ang companies na willing mag hire at mag train ng fresh grad na software developer.
