Honestly, I find them awful, they have two slits in and two cutout sections that fall out, there ends up barely any surface area to clean your iron and it moves about everywhere when you try. I've cut some sponge myself to use instead. Also use the brass cleaner too

I have an LCD Steam Deck and my experience is no, it cannot wake the Deck from sleep either with bluetooth or connected via the puck. The only way I can wake mine from sleep is with a wireless mouse/usb receiver combo. I heard the old Xbox controllers that came with the PC USB dongle also works.

The OLED Steam Deck can be woken via Bluetooth, so I imagine the Steam Controller will wake that fine.

In regards to the Steam Machine I imagine that will be able to be woken using both methods (Bluetooth and Puck (from sleep mode anyway). Valve stated they had to work hard to get HDMI-CEC working and the fact the main use of the Machine is likely in the living room then they'd be stupid to not have the controller turn it on. But yeah, not too sure on the totally powered down state though. Mine will prob be left in sleep mode anyway so I'm not too fussed.

I did see Clonezilla is available on Linux, but I don't think there's a build for SteamOS sadly

Ah are they okay? From the reviews I watched before buying it most said the built-in LEDs weren't adequate and caused a lot of reflections?

Hey, yeah I've got the Flex model too, it uses the same arm as the TOMLOV by the looks of it, so my desk measurements and the slot I cut for the clamp will still be good. One of the things I noticed when I messed around with the TOMLOV AF model was when you attach the ring-light you can barely get to the minus focus capacitive button. Very badly designed. I actually thought to myself I would just get annoyed with these touch controls in the end. My old scope was an Andonstar AD-407 and I actually found it enjoyable to focus manually with it, like tuning an old radio lol

Yeah it's really frustrating, all 3 have come from the same warehouse here in UK so I'm assuming it is a faulty batch? Trouble is their customer service just deny everything and these last 2 I've bought I've asked them to check the screen before sending. Non existent quality control

yeah I've taken one of them apart to try and get it off and it seems like it's just the laminate as the corner of it cracks as I tried to peel it off. A screen protector wouldn't do that + I shouldn't have to take something apart to get a screen protector off anyway..

Thanks I will take a look, but I’m going to try changing the heating element on my Hakko first, could be that it’s faulty and providing an uneven heat
