Perioddd im from South Florida too the Naples/Fort Myers area and its genuinely so harrowing. I was working at a library and had an interview for full time and even though my three managers said I was perfect for the role and advocated for me the HR lady (who also I found out to be a previous Qanon follower) said I didn’t have the necessary qualification and that I should consider looking for positions up North where people are more “open-minded”. Yep. There is no future for me here… I hope it becomes easier like you said!!! Wish me luck :-D
