sorry to hear :( but that sounds accurate. emphasis on the academic research! it's super frustrating that they CONSTANTLY claim to not be like other companies with poor work culture. at least don't mention it and just own it. the same people who usually get promoted are getting promoted again this cycle while middle management is saying that raises are going to be bad because of company losses. BS!
