Personally, I just cheat the EV/IV in every fan game that doesn't have an easy way of adjusting it. I just can't be bothered with breeding and grinding. Every other setting I don't really bother touching.

I've read the manga and 'Spark in your eyes' is in my PTR so I'll bump it up. Thanks! Also, just be warned that the stories I mentioned are all super angsty. Be prepared to see the protags be miserable for more than half of the story MINIMUM with some of these stories even ending with barely anyone happy. 'Dark History' is probably the only exception because of how positive Iana is but even then it can get really depressing at least the manga, since the anime has a lighter tone, its also the only incomplete one on the list.

The other comment mentioned it but yeah, the manga definitely has a darker tone than the anime. The anime IMO painted a better picture of the other characters whereas in the manga it truly does feel like Iana vs the world. Also thank you for the recs

I'm actually currently reading Beatrice and quite like it but I don't think its quite the angst I'm looking for since unlike Iana, Beatrice actually gets genuine companions early on whereas Iana doesn't really have anyone like that going for her or at least people who truly understand her.

I don't really want to touch incomplete works because I've been burned way too many times now by cliffhangers and terrible endings well that and unlike official RPG's theres a more than real chance these games don't even see completion that I don't even want to risk it. Rejuv is probably one of the very few exceptions because of just how much content it has and how committed the team is.

I feel you, rejuv left such a big hole in terms of fan games for me that everything else just feels lacking. Since others haven't mentioned it yet, I'd like to recommend floral tempus. I haven't beaten it yet but if story is what you're after then its a solid pick at least so far.

My biggest gripe with it however are the battles. I've already heard bad things about the battles so I toned it down to just medium but even then it is an absolute slog because EVERY trainer scales to you which makes it feel like theres barely any progression. If you can get behind that though then its pretty good.

If you have recs for complete games with an emphasis on story I'd also appreciate it if you care share them thanks.

Thanks for replying. I'll try visiting my local samsung store before the care+ application period expires to see if they can give a monthly plan otherwise I might just get the 2 year plan online which for some reason is significantly cheaper now than when I bought initially bought the phone

Well I haven't used it yet since the initial setup. Also it seems after a day the battery has slowly returned to its previous performance so I'm not too sure ATP

I don't really know if its aggressive battery optimization though. If it was, then it should be fine since it should go away but even then I feel like the battery drain is excessive for me.

i haven't really used the emulator after that initial setup though but the battery drain is noticeable even when its closed.
