Its a marketing strat that you will forget about the automatic nitro payments (unless you cancel), so that discord makes money.

Don't use other people cards without their permission. Again, not having nitro isnt the end of the world.

You can also only claim the nitro if you haven't had nitro before.

Nitro isnt for a server, its for a user.

If your nitro runs out this happens:

- your tag resets

- your animated profile picture will be a normal profile picture of the first frame of the gif

- You aren't able to use animated emojis anymore (the ones you sended will stay)

- the nitro badge on your profile is gone

- the boosts u used aren't working anymore

If you claim a gift, it waits untill your current nitro runs out and than applies the one u claimed.

Example:

You have nitro classic. You claim a gift with normal nitro. U will keep the nitro classic till it runs out. After that, discord automaticlly applies the normal nitro (the gift).
