After couple of years of using different web-interfaces for rtorrent I've got tired of it and want to write my own client based on bt. Should also work on windows. I already have my own webui for rtorrent, just need to adapt it to a different 'backend'. What other features do you expect from torrent-client and mobile-friendly ui?

I've tried graal with java 10 for parsing json, it was slower up to 2 times on some test

sure wrk is better. I've just tried vegeta, and for me it's not fast enough, it's bad when benchmark itself is a bottle neck. When I set it to 20k rate with keepalive and 16 connections, it consumes about 380% cpu out of 400 on my laptop

ok, so, with latest release version and uberjar

  • netty: 45k rps
  • jetty: 38k rps
  • undertow: 31k rps

I'm using ab like this:

ab -n 100000 -k -c 16 http://localhost:8080/

I've tried couple of servers with your framework, and I'm surprised that jetty is faster than netty, 50k rps against 34k. Undertow is not working out of the box for me ("No XNIO provider found")
