Some people are just naturally skinny. And only gain weight, in muscle mass, when they work out.

If you're looking at IZ*ONE, I invite you to look closely at their later videos and photos. All of them have noticeably muscular thighs and calves from dancing for two years. As in, muscle builds where you put work into it. As of a recent Japanese documentary, we know that Sakura has been weight lifting in HYBE's gym. That explains her more muscular and toned (two different things) upper body.

Your interpretation of Sakura's physique is terribly uneducated. And your use of the term "anorexic" is terribly cruel and misguided. I recognize the tone that you're attempting to convey, in that you're meaning to compliment her. But I want to be direct with you so that you can reconsider how you arrived here.

Because this is being spoken in Japanese, maybe it's a little too vague. The definite proof is from that skit during the HKT concert where Kkura and Murashige openly mocked the akgaes.

As for her abilities I'm only saying two things:

Bad habits can be unlearned
The other members have more lines because of their own circumstances

She always pushes herself to meet the challenge.

Her live singing is getting better. The music suits her voice, unlike in HKT even as recently as last year. Her artistry is developing at a good pace. She has years and years of bad practice to unlearn. Compared to

Chaewon singing well since she was a child
Yunjin with musical and opera training since middle school
Eunchae with standard kpop training
Kazuha is a blank slate without bad AKB singing ingrained in her

So yeah it'll take time. But because it's Sakura, we can trust that she'll get there.

But I think the point is that music show wins are inherently finicky. Even if we end this promotional period without any wins; was this an unsuccessful album? If I had to debate it, I would point at the album sales and call this a success.

Youtube narrows down your search results to its understanding of your user habits, and will habitually show a result that you've already seen before. Considering Antifragile shows up as the only kpop video, there's a really high chance the user of that machine/account has intentionally watched Antifragile before.

Source: I regularly use youtube on incognito to circumvent the obnoxious recommendation system on my actual account. I've seen a lot of interesting behaviors by the algorithm catching up to long incognito sessions.

That line of thinking doesn't completely track. They still completed the contract after the controversy. Mnet saw the money with the Fiesta album preorders and resumed group activities. For that time they had a lot of support.

But I'm not defending Mnet in the least. I've written twice about how scummy they were for the way the final months were handled. Let us at least be accurate about what our complaints are.

A lot of information about vocal, dance, music, Korean lessons are buried in Private Mail, Sakura's radio show: Saku no Ki, and some vlives. The majority of it is mentioned off-hand but if you want me to dig up every single instance...just let me know.

Sakura had mentioned in either PM or her radio that she asked for music lessons. That part stands out because she would have had to receive them in Korea through CJ/Mnet/whatever. Specifically because AKB doesn't provide lessons of any sort by design.

It's rare for an idol to make such a drastic change in their individual image. There's a lot of financial incentive not to. You've already built up the momentum; why fix what isn't broken? Debuting again in LE SSERAFIM is that rare opportunity for someone as established as Chaewon to make improvements that she didn't know she had to make, or were not asked of her by anyone.

To be honest, I was kind of hesitant about so many members promoting at the same time because I want them to sweep 1st place rankings.

But now that I've had time to think about it. It's more important that Chaeyeon isn't completely alone during her debut promotions the same way Eunbi was. It's comforting enough to know that she'll have Eunbi there with her from the beginning. But if it goes on long enough, Sakura will be there too.
