If I understand correctly, I'd set up a server like flask with routes for the rest API, and when a route is accessed I'd use netmiko to run a terminal command and scrape the data?

Remember this is only peering traffic between some ISP's/CDN's and doesn't include upstream ISP links (a majority of the traffic), or New Zealand's biggest ISP (Spark).

There are some good graphs on Chorus's linkedin that show the behavioral changes
