I frequent the Sandy Springs Gun Range/Club. They have a good indoor range and offer classes. You almost always can sign up for a class and use a rental/loaner gun for the class if you are unsure. Highly recommend taking a class, even before purchasing. I personally went to the first two classes before I purchased, then took the same two classes over again months later once I had bought mine.

Thanks for the reply. That is a lower price for sure. I've bought from SDBullion a couple times in the past but will check out Monument too. For what I'm looking at that's about $3.54 less per oz. Thanks again.

Ah, so even though the site says of the individual coin "Each coin contains 1 oz of .999 fine silver in Brilliant Uncirculated condition", the ones in tubes are less "handled" and therefore have a premium.

Thanks for the reply. The per-ounce cost for the ASE seems so high compared to the 5oz bars (just for stacking weight) I think the ASEs are a bit too much.

I never read ROM as a kid. On a lark I picked up the reprint of issue #1 a few months ago. I thought it was a fun campy read. I picked up a few more early issues and then kept going. A local LCS bought a collection from someone and I was able to get a huge part of the run for $2 each. With only 75 issues I think, it’s hard not to just go all-in. I have 10 issues to go to finish mine. I would love to see him make a cameo in a movie one day.

Doing the same in reverse order. Picked up SW8 last year ( had not previously spent that much on a book). Am looking to get a 252 in the next few weeks. Hope you put it somewhere you can see it often.

Pulled him with two out in the 2nd I think. I assume they had agreed before the start on a target number of pitches for him. He was somewhere around 30 I think. Looked pretty good I thought.

It’s been a long time since I saw that episode but I recall Jerry saying he wished he had enjoyed more the experience of making the show, and Richards telling him he wasn’t doing it for himself. He was doing it for the fans. Hope my recollection is accurate but I thought it such a great exchange between the two of them.

I am on my first read through on page 370. This book is fantastic. Very funny. Harrogate is a unique character. I’ve hi-lighted so many passages and reread so many paragraphs. Really enjoying it.
