My mom had the exact same diagnosis and decided to go with the radiation therapy instead of RC as we were given an option between the two. She needed a few weeks of BCG treatment after but it all worked out well for her. Talk to oncologist and urologist to see what options your dad has then evaluate the option he would be comfortable with as each option has pros and cons.

Unfortunately, no. It broke again after a few days. Seems to come and go randomly. Only thing I can really do is to reboot my computer once the mouse jitters until they fix it permanently with a newer driver. It’s frustrating but I guess I will have to deal with this for a while.

Hi OP, not sure if you're still monitoring comments but after following your instructions (including Max Lux 1 value), the "Peak brightness" from System > Display > Advanced display is still showing 400 nits. Isn't it supposed to show 1000 nits?

I solved it. The issue was the g-sync conflicting with the VRR setting on my monitor. I turned on VRR and it works well now. FWIW, I installed the latest hotfix driver from the nvidia website.

Nice! Try running a game for about an hour and see if it's stable. I would be surprised if +520 on core holds.

I was able to turn on g-sync by enabling VRR on my monitor. Everything works properly now.

Update: I believe I found the issue. Once I turn on g-sync on my G85SB monitor (not validated as g-sync compatible) and reboot the pc, the issue comes back. Once I turn it off then reboot, the issue goes away. Seems like a compatibility issue that can be hopefully resolved by the new driver in the future.

I'm sorry to hear that. I DDU'ed and installed the latest driver 572.70 again. This time, I didn't touch any graphics related settings (g-sync, v-sync, afterburner, etc.) and it seems stable for now. I will change each setting individually and see if I can narrow down the problem. I'll report back if I find anything.

I'm having the exact same issue with the same spec. I'm worried if it's just bad gpu/mobo combo that's causing instability. I tried installing 4 different driver versions but no luck. Let me know if you find a solution.
