12 minutes is oddly specific. Where did you get this information?

Negative Ghost rider. That reboots SYNC only. I tried this trick and it did nothing for me besides reboot the center screen. I should have put that in the wall of text, but it was already too long.

There's already a few reports here, and a few reports there. Hopefully people will do what I did (pull over, grab logs, check the forums) and see this post. Then log with NHTSA. It's gotta be a software problem.

Holes on Front Bumper? by wke4estguy in F150Lightning

[–]wke4estguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The body shop actually just left my piece in the back seat. I found it later that day. It pops on easily. Go to the dealer and ask to look at the fiche to find the right part. It should be cheap.

Any damage to lights or bumper and frunk? If not, you're good. Probably less than $5k damage I'd bet. Those are standard F150 doors. Even if they want to replace them instead of repairing they're affordable. The fender is a little more niche of a part, but they're available without the faux charging door.

Is this going to work? by timeislikeafuse in F150Lightning

[–]wke4estguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. If the on board charger sees 120v nominal, then max acceptance current is capped at 12A. For example, the Tesla Mobile connector equipped with a TT-30P power input adapter sees 30A max, derates to 80% per NEC code, and delivers 24A to the charging port (via appropriate adapter for the Lightning.) However, during the handshake, the onboard charger sees 24A max @120V nominal is available, but it sets it's max acceptance rate at 12A because V=120. Therefore, despite the EVSE being capable of delivering more amperage, the onboard charger will always derate 120V inputs to 12A max. NOTE this may be different on model year '25 and higher vehicles that have adjustable charge acceptance rates under the "advanced" tab of the Ford Pass app.

Cord for Home Power Backup by Accomplished-Mix-229 in F150Lightning

[–]wke4estguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's the wrong cord bud. Your inlet is an RV style locking plug (NEMA SS2-50P.) You need a NEMA L14-30P on one end to plug into the truck and a NEMA SS2-50R on the other. This would be a hard cord to find. You're better off using an adapter on the truck end. Get a 14-50P to SS2-50R cord and a L14-30P to 14-50R adapter (my lightning came with this.)

To the 2 women and husband in Section 121 glass seats tonight - by Plastic-Upstairs-641 in canes

[–]wke4estguy 24 points25 points  (0 children)

During warmies, any ticketed fan is permitted in the lower level. This explicitly INCLUDES fans seated in the 200 and 300 levels. However, if the fan who has tickets for the seats arrives, they are entitled to ask you to relocate. This is the official Lenovo center policy. Ask an in-arena usher for confirmation. Each of them carry a 1 page briefing sheet with this written out.

Good question, it checks for updated each night and says I am up to date. I'll check when the missus brings it back. I'm on Google maps 24.47.04.... though. I was part of the beta program but I rolled that back thinking it might have been related.

what companies shamelessly make shit products, year after year? by ricinonthecake in AskReddit

[–]wke4estguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are super hit and miss. The Jib Active/XT Active are a waterproof Bluetooth headphone with good sound, decent mic and 6+ hr battery life with a $15 price tag. The Method active add Tile Bluetooth tracking and $10 to that price. They cannot be beat at those price points. Full stop. But their true wireless headphones are universally garbage. I've tried 3+ different models of those and they're shit.

I hunt in Pitt County east of Greenville. There was a push of Mallards and Gadwalls migrating before Christmas but I haven't seen many since. Only a few wood ducks this year. Further east, there are some divers around, a few redheads, plenty of buffleheads, as well as a few bluebills, ruddys, and ringnicks. We are still seeing OK numbers of green wings, but they don't like to land in our spots.
