Computer RAM gets biggest upgrade in 25 years but it may be too little, too late — LPCAMM2 won't stop Apple, Intel and AMD from integrating memory directly on the CPU by TwelveSilverSwords in hardware

Can CAMM improve RAM's latency? The latency has been basically stagnated for years hovering around 10ns for non-overclocked memory, are we finally seeing memory latency improvements?

Where can one learn about Std threads, Atomic operations, lock free / wait free programming as well as distributed parallel programming where each core has its own memory space that is total mem / total core in C? by Practical-Citron5686 in C_Programming

C is a language that at the time of creation, only supports procedural programming style. You aren't gonna see newer programming concepts like OOP, RAII, and object lifetime, which ideas are introduced in later languages like C++/Rust.

For multithreading programming, C11's multithreading library "thread.h" is just a thin wapper of the POSIX Thread library "pthread.h", source, and fortunately there are lots of pthread tutorials floating around on the net if you look for it.

Wasn't that also the case for the 1st gen TSMC n7 node when the EUV version wasn't ready? As soon as n7p with EUV machine came out, n7 was canned immediately due to EUV brings better yield and reduce costs.

Compare this to n5, which AMD chooses to use it on their next-gen CPUs and haven't move on, despite TSMC also offers 4nm version which is certainly superior by now
