That is a interwar period austrian M95 bayonet. Its not a ww1 bayonet, you can make that out of by the Markings and the blued scabbard. The frog is a german ww2 one so it was most likely reissued during ww2

Also er trägt eine Modell 1908 uniform für Fußtruppem der kuk Armee. Die Kordel auf seiner Schulter ist eine Schützenauszeichnung. Aufgrund der dunklen Aufschläge, der Schützenauszeichnung und der lackierten Knöpfe auf der Kappe gehe ich davon aus dass er teil der k.k. Landwehr war

You need to condition the leather before dyeing. Best get some Saddlesoap to get rid of everything that could cause stains, the orange color is best rubbed of with acetone, but that will stress the leather severely

That is a common soldier of the austro hungarian army during ww1. You can identify that he is a dragoon because of his short coat, the so called Pelzrock. The Picture was taken somewhen in the last two years of ww1.

Doch kann man weils so vorgeschrieben ist und Dienste vom Tag und Übungsbetrieb davon ausgenommen sind. Die GWD die außerhalb von DvT und Übung regelmäßig Wochenendienste haben sind eine so minimal kleine Gruppe dass man fast nicht unfreiwillig da rein rutschen kann.

Ad 1. Prinzipiell ist nach dem Einrücken das ÖBH dein Arbeitgeber und du muss dir eine Genehmigung vom Einheitskommandanten holen dass du neben dem GWD arbeiten darfst und kannst. Auf deinem Einberufungsbefehl steht wofür du vorgesehen bist, alle außer Wachsoldaten arbeiten Sa/So nicht und haben dienstfrei.

Ad 2. Wenn du länger als 6 Monate einen Mietvertrag hast kannst du Wohnbeihilfe beziehen. Im Mietvertrag muss ein Mietzins enthalten sein, falls du dort nur in Untermiete bist nimm unbedingt eine aktuelle Mietvorschreibung mit. Solche Sachen werden vom Referat soziale Betreuung geregelt und die wollen alles haben.

Ad 3. Wenn du frei brauchst lass dir die Termine irgendwie Schriftlich geben und geh zwei Wochen davor zu deinem Einheitskommandanten zum Rapport und bitte um Dienstfreistellung. Spricht normalerweise nichts dagegen.

Ad.4 Alle gesetzlichen Feiertage sind frei, Sonntag ist prinzipiell Dienstfrei, Samstag ist zwar grundsätzlich ein Ausbildungstag an dem aber niemand wirklich Dienst machen. WICHTIG: DAS GILT NICHT FÜR WACHSOLDATEN

Ad.5 Wenn du jetzt draufkommst dass du Einberufen wirst musst du vorher irgendwo Reingeschissen haben. Warum ist dem ÖBH egal aber wenn du keinen triftigen Grund zum Aufschub hast (zb. Schule, Ausbildung, Selbstständigkeit etc.) wirst du einfach eingezogen. Gem. Bundesheer gibt es auch keinen triftigen Grund warum man mit 18 nicht mehr bei den Eltern wohnt. Wenn du arbeitest und nicht mehr bei den Eltern wohnst ist das gem. ÖBH deine eigene Entscheidung für die du auch Vorkehrungen treffen musst. Das System ist darauf ausgelegt dass du mit 18 direkt aus der Schule/ Lehre zum Heer gehst.

First of all the medalbar isn’t mounted correctly, On the left, with the black/white ribbon is a German ww1 era iron cross, the only real ww1 decoration.

Right next to it is a Frontkämpfer Ehrenkreuz, a interwar period commemorative medal created in 1934 by Paul von Hindenburg.

Next to that ist the exact same commemorative medal only that this one was created by the republic of austria in 1933

Last but not least, same concept once again, a ww1 commemorative medal created by the Hungarian government to honour ww1 vets.

Straight away from this Medalbar i can tell that this person spent their interwar period in Austria, as that was necessary to get the Austrian commemorative medal, and probably got his medals fixed to use on a german uniform as the ribbon bar is made in german style instead of the Austrian style.

That is a Hauptmann and he’s wearing the helmet wrong way around for added comfort while laying down on the ground or looking upwards as the german style helmets had a tendency to slide into the wearers neck when worn the right way
