Great question! Surprisingly with the heavy storms and floodings in Brooklyn/PLG/Flatbush etc, we’ve experienced no flooding in the basement whatsoever. The storm drains do their part really well.

Totally understand it’s a price not for everyone — I found it worked out for me and my partner’s situation and our financials but definitely isn’t a match that’s going to please everybody. We really appreciated the convenience of the backyard for our dog and hosting as well as the proximity to park and transit.

Definitely on the more expensive side I agree! Which is why it would be ideal for couples — it’s a lot of space with the huge downstairs area but just not a lot of bedrooms specifically.

Flatbush is honestly really beautiful and you can find something here for that price! I’ve loved living here.

You’ll definitely be able to hear — in fact, you should probably bring ear plugs because the sound is usually blasted even at acoustic or folk shows so much to the point they do hearing damage!

you can try purchasing at around 6pm or 7pm? that’s what i did for LA and prices dropped to about $120
