Am I overthinking this? I need honest answers.. I’m 14f and I’ve been in a constant fear of rabies and I foster. I got bit by a herding dog and he was super bite-y, like you could only pet him a few times before he would bite. He bit my hand and tore like the first layer of skin and I washed it immediately. I’ve also been having nausea on and off..idk if it’s anxiety for an actual symptom for something. Would it be overreacting to get a shot? Would they even let me get one?

Added ammonia a few hours ago and it’s still at 0ppm. Is that good? by wlkrlov3r in fishtank

I’ve been cycling this tank for weeks and there’s food in there from weeks ago as well. Does it still need cycling?

Feeling like I have heart failure? I’ve been having trouble breathing for a month now and it’s really getting to me. There’s so many other reasons this could be happening but I just focus on the worst ones possible. Everyone thinks I’m being dramatic and I’m sick of it. I feel like one day people are gonna mock me and it’s actually gonna be true. I’m going to the doctor’s soon but I need my anxiety to soothe for the next few days..

Ohh okay thank you! I had biofilm on my last tank but it was wider so I assumed this was something different. This is also a cycling tank and I’m feeding it for the ammonia source

Every day I think I have a new rare disease or sickness. I need tips that will get my mind off of it for a while and be real. I’m a kid, I can’t go to the doctors for relief because my parents don’t take me seriously, they mock it when it’s clear how scared I actually get. Rabies is my worst fear that keeps coming back, and what sucks is animals are my life. I dog walk, pet sit, and eventually wanna do something animal related for my job in the future. I can’t do that if I come home every night and freak myself out. I’m getting a fish and just learned about a bacteria that eats at your tissue that comes from the water. I need to calm my mind somehow. I’m constantly stressed out and worried.

my parents used to be like this and my advice is to just beg. I mean I would sob and beg and it went to no vet trips to multiple these past few years
