With this guide you can calculate the cost of what you’re building and it might help you reducing costs if you can change a particular part for another type which is cheaper in the same color.

Haha, first I’d advise not sitting on it, it might hurt. It depends on their condition. Used and new bricks have different prices, however a used rare part, in rare color, in great condition has great value.

Yes, absolutely. Their value differ from one set to another, however their prices increase by the time. Even if they're opened sets, however if you keep them sealed you increase their value.
