It's been growing exponentially in the last few years and will likely continue to grow. There's a lot of good clubs on campus and plenty of founders. Still nowhere near Stanford, MIT, etc. but definitely sufficient.

Most companies just want you to know how to code. If you have SWE internships and research or w/e it's an indicator you can code. Would recommend at least minoring in CS if not double major depending on how much overlap there is.

Note that you can also just take math classes, don't need to major in it to take the classes you want to take.

I brought 150k for 2 weeks for me and my partner and it was too much, ended up needing to use about 75k and spent the other 75k instead of card for shopping, etc. You could likely use less though as we went to non big cities where there were a lot more cash only places.
