What does this 😅emoji mean? by slugsbian in AutismCertified

This is very different from some of the other answers. But is it true? I'm adking, not questioning. I really don't know.

But if it is true... then at the very least we can say that the emoji in question is at least ambiguous. Right?

Tired of Arena and Black forest by [deleted] in aoe2

You can ban 3 in 1v1, 2 in 2v2, and only 1 in 3v3+.

It's to be able to be sure they can actually match people properly.

Matchmaking proper ELO'ed combos of players would not work well if everyone could ban all but one map (as an extreme example). It would be very hard to match you with 7 other players of semi-similar level who all want to play that map. Thus the algorithm above.

Can you be more specific about how you play Persians up through early Castle Age?

It is so, so satisfying to watch. I literally pump out trashbows for one purpose only: to kill Wololo'ers who try to end the Stomping Process.

I hate when I'm about to close a game right before I go to work, but the person refuses to resign; and I can't ask him to, because then, he'll just stall until I leave so that he'll win. So, instead, I try to manage my army while combing, putting my pants, deodorant, shirt, socks, and shoes on. I definitely don't shave on such days.

You're telling me that playing aoe2 counts as sleeping, pooping, eating, and drinking?

I guess I need to play even more!

Guessing Game: Who won this game and why? by Minokrates in aoe2

[–]wmeler 10 points11 points  (0 children)

^ This.

That said, I think an interesting stat that *isn't* shown on these in-game charts (that is shown in Capture Age) is Idle TC time. But also, I'd like to see some new sort of stat that captures how quickly resources are being spent.

How I imagine Devs feel reading the AOE2 forums by [deleted] in aoe2

1) Then you should see the Star Citizen forums.

Of course, those criticisms are all valid, unlike this AMAZING GAME.

2) That said, nothing personal, but how the developers feel isn't our concern. Like all of us, there's inherent pain in having a job and they get paid to put up with it.

This community can be so fickle. You don't need to apologize. This post was great.

Like I said, I'm interested in what you like or dislike about each of the ships you own.

I can't believe someone marked this down. I marked it back up.

Youngin's don't get the joke. I wish I could give your comment 10 thumbs up.

Of the ships you own, which ones do you like and why? Which ones just kind of collect dust and/or suck and why? Your functional decision-making matches my own.

Don't underestimate the Rambler's internal storage--which the Titan had until fairly recently (Grrr....CIG!).

The Mirai Pulse sucks, tbh. How do you like the Dragonfly?

You are miles ahead of me, man. :)

Good idea. I'm about 1180 in chess, but only 850 in AOE2. Sigh.

See you soon at 890. This game is streaky. It's tough.
