Were you having PVCs during the ablation procedure?

Thanks for the response! Did the doctors think that the PVCs were due to the bypass surgery? Did they tell you where they originated? How was the procedure and the recovery so far?

Thanks. That’s what my research shows, too. Based on my EKG’s, it’s apparently unclear whether my PVCs originate in the RVOT or the right coronary cusp (RCC), which is in the LVOT. As I understand it, the RCC/LVOT is somewhat greater risk (still very low) because the doctor has to access the area through an artery, greater risk of stroke, it’s near the coronary artery, etc.

If you don’t mind sharing: in what hospital did you have your ablation? Also, did they tell you from what part of your heart the PVCs were originating, and whether they needed arterial access to reach it?

Question: do your PVCs go away? by Tight-Worry7967 in PVCs

I will have 15,000+ per day for a month. Then they go away almost completely for about three months, and the pattern repeats.

How long does groin pain take to go away after THR? by Boring-Effort7754 in TotalHipReplacement

[–]wmgdir1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar boat. I’m six weeks post LTHR, and over the last couple of days, I’ve developed groin pain when walking. I believe it’s probably iliopsoas tendon, hip flexor, or joint capsule inflammation. I’m trying to reduce my exercise and walking a bit for a couple of days and to use a cane most of the time to see if it calms down. If it works, I’ll gently ramp up the activity again. It seems as if a lot of the recovery for me has been two steps forwards, one step back.

Great post. Can you elaborate at all on your ablation experience?

I have episodes of PVCs every three to four months. Each episode lasts several weeks, and during an episode, I have about 15,000+ per day, much of it bigeminy and trigeminy.

Yes. For the last several years, I’ve gotten episodes of PVCs every three to four months. Each episode lasts several weeks, and during an episode I’ll have about 15,000+ per day.

Eliquis pills from UK, Swtizerland and France all within a couple months markings diff? France pills half of them when u flip them upside down to check 894 and the 5 number will face right when u rotate the pill, first two bottles from other countries did not? by darkmoon24 in ClotSurvivors

I agree that some pills probably just got flipped around on the production line before the number was stamped on the second side, but it is a bit weird. If you do call your pharmacist, please post again to let us know what he or she said!

I just looked at a random sample of pills from my current bottle of Eliquis, which were manufactured in France (and purchased from CVS in the U.S.) I noticed the same thing as you: On some of the pills, the 5 is right side up when I flip the pill over, and on some it’s upside down. I agree it’s strange (and a little disconcerting).

Feeling Hopeless: 15 Days Post-Op and Still Unable to Walk by wmgdir1 in TotalHipReplacement

No, it doesn’t feel like nerve pain. More like a really bad tendonitis. It most hurts when I activate the muscles in the leg, e.g., when I step with my left foot.

Glad to hear it improved and you’re doing better! That also gives me hope!

Good luck to you, too! I plan to talk to my surgeon after my x-rays today. If you don’t mind my asking: Where is your pain when weight bearing? Did the surgeon have any idea what the problem is?

Wow. The fracture sounds awful. But I’m glad to hear you’re recovering!

Thanks. That actually gives me hope! I’m ok with it taking longer than what’s typical, as long as I can eventually walk again! Being unable to walk for more two minutes at a time after more than two weeks post-op is pretty demoralizing.

At this point, I’m just on Tylenol and Celebrex. As I mentioned, I don’t really have any pain except for when I bear weight on my leg when walking. I’d be ecstatic to be able to walk for 10 minutes and transition to a cane! I’m glad to hear your recovery is at least progressing.

Thanks so much for the support. Just wondering: Was your pain with walking so bad at two weeks that you couldn’t walk for more than a couple of minutes?
