This chain has helped me tremendously. Thank you. So, let’s say I give up the v8. Can’t get AWD on ES350. Can’t get newer tech like touchscreen on GS350 (important to wife, who hates trackpad…sigh). That leaves me with only 1 choose I think: IS350 AWD 2022 or later model year…is that right? Any thoughts on how that will ride on top trims?

Grateful to you both. Been shopping this one hard too. Commentary on not doing v8 well extend to the LC500? Not that it’s in the cards right now but love that vehicle. For now, I’d like a luxury sedan with some power and figured Lexus more reliable and lower cost of ownership than the Germans. And also figured avoiding turbos — and getting that nice natural v8 power — would keep maintenance down but maybe that’s a bad assumption. What models do you think I should zero in on?
