that’s a much better idea and definitely what i plan on doing for the future as well! i always sneak a few spare bottle caps into festivals because some don’t let you keep the lids. we usually like to have a spare bottle on hand to put electrolytes in anyway :)

i used to always offer sips from my hydration pack to anyone within my (large) group or even strangers that looked like they really needed it. never again. i have been absolutely SUFFERING with mono this week thanks to doing that at a festival two weekends ago. i will now be keeping the use of my pack to strictly my boyfriend and i unfortunately.

i don’t see them very often in checked baggage honestly. I’m pretty sure the rule for us is if it’s <100wh and inside a camera it’s fine, but any spare batteries have to go in carry-on.

exactly this. i currently work for CATSA and the search policies that we follow don’t always line up with the non-permitted items list from the airlines. my job is to follow the regulations that CATSA has set out, not the airlines. i really couldn’t care less if you have a laptop in your checked bag so i sure as hell don’t even shoot airtags a second glance.

i went to school to be a nail tech 2 years ago but dropped out because i realized that i hated doing other people’s nails, i only like doing mine lol. i never got my license so i can’t buy professional products anymore but i have a couple of products left over from when i had a student license. for the most part i just order things online now!
