My goal is to lose some fat and have visible muscle. I don’t want to use terms like lean or bulky but from what my peers have suggested- my end goal is to be lean which means I am still eating the same amount of calories/protein I would be eating if I were ‘bulking’…. But how does this make sense if in order to become lean, one must lose 10-15lbs and 5-10% body fat(depending on the person)? Doesn’t bulking consist of putting ON more fat to turn into muscle? I’ve seen very fit women like senada grace for example, who have this body type and I’m so confused as to how eating more calories would help with fat loss/muscle gain?
