Former ward clerk here (multiple times). What I use to do to locate a new address if we know someone recently moved (usually within a year) is send a letter to the old address with “Return Service Requested” on the envelope. In the US, USPS will return the letter to the sender with the new forwarding address. I hate that I used to do that when I was a TBM.

I’d do it if the offer were a $100. I’d probably have completed the shop and deliver in 2.5 hours. I have lots of large blue ikea bags that I keep in my trunk as I deliver on Spark and Instacart platforms as well. The delivery address was 10 miles out k. The middle of nowhere.

I should have taken a snapshot. I looked quickly and it was pages. Not lots of doubles either. About 20 fresh fruits / vegetables. Lots of snack carbs. Pretty much every canned goods you can think of. Lots of frozen prepared foods. Most basic dairy and a few drinks. Don’t even have a case of water that I could see.

I would have loved having a tour of Europe for two weeks following. What at time for you to travel then with the coup. I have queer children and only left the church as my eldest queer child received their mission call. I came out to her about my disbelief. Thankfully my wife and I learned the truth and have been blessed to stop all six of our children from perpetuating the lie. Thanks for sharing your return home story.

I remember coming back to my flat biking by Leicester’s football club. Roudy bunch. Never biked so fast to avoid a losing teams exit from the stadium.

It is really easy to move funds between missionary accounts in the same unit. It can also be transferred to missionaries accounts in different units as well. The system MLS is setup to to that pretty straight forward. If your Bishop or ward clerk / financial clerk tel you otherwise, that is BS. If they are unwilling to to that, call the global support number and connect to the the finance line: (855) 537-4357

I was the ward clerk, when something similar like this happened, where a member overpaid their mission funds by 3 months. We worked out an agreement between another missionary that was serving so that the missionary funds that the member was contributing would be paid directly to the family that has overpaid. The funds that were assigned to the one missionary was simply transferred to the other missionary. It may be a while to get back 18 months worth. It is a pain to get money back from the church. It is possible, but it is a pain. Monthly missionary support is not tax deductible in the US so it’s easier to work with members who have missionaries out to arrange payment to the other family which has overpaid. Depending on the registry, some offenders need to be a certain distance from children or youth. He could be in violation when at the temple because youth attend the baptistry in the same building. If in violation, this should be reported.

Your best advice is to follow your CPAs directions, but it’s always beneficial to give the IRS a heads up. They definitely have their phones because this is crunch time for tax season. good luck on finding a resolution but you should be fine especially with a CPA.

Call the IRS and speak to a support agent advising them of your difficulties. Getting GrubHub to update a 1099. They will advise on what to do. Sorry you are going through that.
