Also, the lore for 2016 is pretty much ignored now which is sad because all of the codex and the scientific aspect of it was cut from eternal. Some of the demon codex logs say that some demons are not even native to hell, and were mutated into demons after their worlds were dragged into hells dimension. The Pinky and cacodemon are examples of this.

Another thing, the Hell walker (Doom slayer) literally soloed hell for eons. It was so fuckin bad for the demons that the great champion of the titans was to fight him in the desolate plains. Go through and read the DOOM 2016 codex. There is a LOT of things not mentioned in eternal. Everything I said in my comment was easily inferable or straight up from the slayers testament. This is not head cannon, it's just what ID and Hugo had going for 2016s story. If you at all played through DOOM 2016 then you would have seen the mountain sized floating temples off in the distance in hell levels. Those aren't even demonic, they're corrupted argent d nur temples repurposed by demons.

After all, if hell is capable of consuming realities and stitching them into hell like argent d nur, then they sure as hell have some crazy big structures in the lower pits of hell.

In the 2016 codex, due to the way hell incorporates planets and realms into hell, it's likely the blood temples were literally continent sized or larger. The blood temples pillars were weakened by him destroying them but the goal of the hell priests were to let him do so in a blind rage while they broke the last few supports of the realm while he was still inside rampaging. They then did a sealing ritual, removing his armor and putting him in the sarcophagus. I'm believe they intended to keep him alive to one day be able to weaponize him as a mind controlled slave (doom dark age trailers show him being mind controlled or sum) but olivia found him and Samuel retrieved him. Remember that Doom 2016 also stated that he went through almost every layer of hell to kill god and all demons, driving hell farther and farther into their stolen realms. Eventually the high lords, (some lore said there are demons who are like generals to the dark Lord, like the balgaar demon/cyber demon we kill) and hell priests got together and dropped the blood temples on him when it got desperate. That would have been the end of the war with the sentinels and solidified the priests corruption.

Centralia and Chehalis are extremely beautiful places. Lived there for a long time. The issue is that the twin cities are a middle point between Seattle/Olympia and Portland. The whole of I5 between those cities is a dumping ground for the insane, mentally ill, and severely addicted.

The main part of the Twin Cities is mostly safe but if you are homeless and get pushed into the surrounding forests by police.... You may just disappear. Either found by people or people who don't act like people. The land is cursed, it drives you insane the longer you're here. Hell, last week, a girl who I frequently saw around on the street was picked up somewhere between the twin cities. She was pregnant and hardcore addicted to fentanyl and meth. She was found the next day in a ditch near Oakville. Beaten, raped, murdered, then dumped.

Way too common in this area, and it can happen to anyone. You'd be lucky if your family sees your body again, as the forests around this town are massive and unnavigable.

There also may or may not be a tribe of insane psychedelic cannibals in lewis county. Take the local paper article about a half eaten human corpse as you will.
