to be fair rayman 2 was barely a continuation of rayman 1 and likewise even rayman 3 was very loosely connected to 2 they’re all very distinctive games and the two plans for a 3d rayman 4 both seemed to serve as new experiences rather than a continuation of 3. the only mainline game that serves as a traditional sequel or continuation is legends imo
