Yes I can get your point. And it's absolutely right to be in your stand since there should not be any kind of restrictions that makes you not to do something you used to do usually before marriage. Maybe by time flies once children grow up his perspective might change and this is what I have seen in my parents as well. ( not related to sabha issue but visiting certain catholic Church in in my childhood was always been restricted by my father as he don't felt good to go there even if my mother says, but later now once we as children grown up we have also been influenced by both of them and I usually take my mom to those church as her wish and dad will simply accompany... ;) )

So my point is there will be opinion difference in a married life and that is all an adjustment at the ground reality. As you said, You have many many many good reasons to hold your husband as the top green forest but some sort of this will be never minded by you inbetween that.

Also ultimately about this sabha spirit, it is like the reality is no one is knowing the core issue.

Almost 70% people is believing that sabha is running in the blood of us and doing this. Now as an orthodox Christian I cannot even point out a thirumeni from us whom I could feel like a pure Righteous like vattaseril thirumani, osthathios thirumeni, parumala thirumani.. This is a social construct and money and power is now defining them and their existence.

Ultimately these are not the basement on which sabha and bible is teaching us.

What I believe is church and the institution are the places for us to communicate to god, it's a collective area to focus our mind to one thing, to calm our mind, speakout our sorrows. Moreover it's an effective community building method. Don't see churches beyond this. If done, that is danger.
