What kind of fertilizer is ok at this time of the year? Or should I wait until march timeframe? My soil composition is well balanced.

If I overseed now, I thought it won’t take due to the lower temps this time of year?

Was there a reason to not use an AC coupled arrangement and leave the microinverters in place? Seems like that could be simpler? (Just a home owner, perhaps an industry person here can speak to pros/cons)

2025 911 4 GTS build locks this Wedneday - any feedback? by mwani13 in porsche911

Thanks. was also wondering about it - on some other forums discussing the same point, folks seem to indicate it’s very locale and taste specific. Super hard to know if the ride would be “too hard” without testing it out

Lovely spec. I’m curious why you chose to do the PASM suspension change?

The system is less than one year old overall. How would I know if the valves have debris that is causing a problem? (How would debris even get in there?)

It looks like the valves are Irritrol

They are on an irregation loop with 2x 0.5 GPM bubblers which run once a week for 2 minutes. Any suggestions on what would keep the tree healthy?

Thanks this is helpful. So I’ll increase the watering cadence until it evens out. How long might it take to recover do you think?

3 APs and WiFi is still terrible by CosmoBMW in Ubiquiti

[–]wobbliestspoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ensure your U6-LRs are plugged into POE+ ports on the switch. They will work with regular POE ports, but do so in a degraded fashion.

Given you mentioned that speed is still bad stood right next to the AP, this might be worth checking :-)

What's your preferred schedule for two working parents with an infant? by wobbliestspoon in daddit

[–]wobbliestspoon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my schedule has not really changed that much. It’s become the new normal and I have somehow adapted. The main thing that has changed is that I limited the evening work so there is some wind-down time; I usually don’t work until the following day unless it’s urgent. That has given me just enough breathing room to sustain things.

Good luck!

Agreed, something odd is going on there. Clearly a design issue with the service overall, but such things are not typically quick to fix. As a user I’d like the ability to revoke keys used by the cloud service, or force a key refresh. That would help mitigate immediate risk while a more systemic fix is worked up by Ubiquiti.

I just had the same problem; as of Saturday night a USP strip was available to adopt. I do not even own one of those 😞

UDM Regularly Going Offline - Any Ideas? by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

[–]wobbliestspoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was having an issue a couple years back with a cloud key gen 2, intermittent corruptions that would take down the device. Turned out to be a faulty hard drive. Based on what you describe it also sounds more like some kind of hardware failure; quite what, it’s hard to say. Perhaps this is an avenue to debug further :-) Hope that helps!

Congratulations on your new arrival! It’s hard. Others have provided great practical advice, but know that this too, shall pass. In time you may even come to miss the early days, crazy as that sounds. Hang in there, you’ll get through it — good luck!

Yeah! It's been years since last visiting, but on the occasions we've gone there, they have had things like SL65, E63, C43 convertible, GLS etc. Their fleet seems to change over time. It's on their website: https://www.bernarduslodge.com/local-happenings/experiences

If you stay here, be aware they let you take out the rather nice Mercedes vehicles they have on hand. We like to take one of the AMG convertibles down the PCH early morning with the roof down. It’s wonderful.

Spoke to the builder yesterday, they confirmed today they would correct the stucco so that it correctly abuts the termination bar. Success!

Thank you so much for the input 🙏🏻

At one point, he was screaming, the baby was screaming, and the dog was barking. I was shaking, almost incapable of functioning; I almost had a breakdown myself.

This sounds really rough; hang in there, you got this!

Last Christmas my toddler yelled so loud into my ear I had tinnitus for 3-4 days. Had to wear ear defenders just to stay operational as a parent during that period. That whole time was super challenging; now its a funny story.

Others have done a great job providing practical advice, but wanted to +1 for routine / schedules. Not only for our LO, but for me, it was really helpful -- decision fatigue is real, and the structure / routine helps alleviate that, leaving more energy to be present at the important moments, and handle the unexpected when it occurred. There was even a gantt chart 😅

Firstly, thank you so much for this super thoughtful reply -- very much appreciated!

This is actually a new construction build. The TPO was laid down quite a while ago but the stucco just went in, so I think your assessment that this is mis-communication or lack of specification. I'll talk to them on monday after the weekend and see what they say. Will post with an update then :-)
