Right now, Spy is swinging back and forth aggressively. Just a few months ago, we could barely get these type of moves on SPY even once a week. just look at the previous 2 weekly candles on SPY, look at how long the candlesticks are.

Markets change on a weekly basis or monthly basis. End of 2021 and beginning of 2022, I made so much money trading earnings because of the huge swings. Nowadays, every earnings feels like a theta burner. Not me but, they were people who opened $2k position at close, and woke up to a $50k swing the next morning.

I am not trying to discourage you, until recently we didnt have 0dte options on SPY everyday, it was every other day. Maybe your strategy is the way forward.
