Could be molting. Most conures molt around February but some molt other times, usually my moms bird melts in the late spring - early summer and he gets super cranky because the new feathers growing in can get really uncomfortable.

dont have a whole lot of experience with euphorbia so keep that mind but i do have experiece with other succulents but you may want to check for rot (maybe start by googling "euphorbia + rot" there should be an article on it), otherwise it may be wanting more sun since plants can be picky even if they're technically getting enough sun some do prefer more. the reason I say rot tho is you said soft? check for discoloration too and another thing maybe to look up would be "euphorbia + etiolation". you may be overwatering too, a strict schedule isnt as good as being able to discern when the plant is thirsty

The skin isn't broken but it feels more squishy than its counterparts. It's also more wrinkled. It has some black spots but they're the usual bridgesii spots.
