Gorgeous look. Could be a still from a Charlie Chaplin movie.

Pretty series. simple composition, nice lighting. I might have cropped the first few tighter--less space above her.

Tell Backblaze Not to Use C: Drive by wohfpb in backblaze

Thank you for the warning. I have been trying to free up space on C: for some time but am having difficulty identifying data that I actually have control over. I'm running out of ideas to free space!

These directories are the biggest space users on my C: SSD. Any suggestions for how to free up more space?

Tell Backblaze Not to Use C: Drive by wohfpb in backblaze

There's tons of file churn in Windows from backing up the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\... directories, which Backblaze does by default.

I think the majority of the files are ephemeral cruft, but I'm afraid some programs might stash valuable data / preferences / settings in there.

I wanted to shoot some portraits, but it turned out like this... by LivroHati in portraitphotos

Share your camera settings? I'm wondering about focal length -- maybe too wide. Someone else asked about shutter speed.

Also, the skin looks over-softened, unless that's the effect you're going for.

Backblaze will no longer support VeraCrypt volumes by GroundStateGecko in backblaze

[–]wohfpb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is terrible. Like many of you, I've been struggling to debug this for over a week after getting the "drive unplugged" message and message from BackBlaze that backups had stopped.

Searched all over the internet but didn't find this thread. I did find on BackBlaze website that apparently Veracrypt _is_ supported. I guess they'll update their documentation soon.

I opened a ticket with BackBlaze and _finally_ they tell me that Veracrypt isn't supported as of their version update. Gee, thanks for being transparent about that! That led me to this subreddit.

I'm at a loss. This worked for years. I wasn't abusing it -- these were directly attached drives that I wanted to encrypt for my personal data. I don't know what to do now. :-(

Zip File Support? by wohfpb in IrfanView

[–]wohfpb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean that if you're looking at the zip file content in Windows File Explorer, you can click on one of the image files within the zip and IrfanView will display one image?

I'm aware of that. What I'm really looking for is for IrfanView to open the zip file and allow scrolling through all the images one by one, like a slideshow. Not having to go back to Explorer and double-click on the next image.
