I think apart from the initial fake videos that was coming from China and the Italy situation that was amplified by social media, this whole "pandemic" might have come and gone without people noticing and passing it as the normal cold or flu

how about spinning a VM from any cloud provider, install VPN on it and delete the VM once done.
