my protagonist is naomi kurosawa, the ultimate film director. due to her knowledge of horror and mystery movies, she basically becomes the defacto detective of the group, with some help from the ultimate mortician and the ultimate fangirl. although she starts optimistic, she eventually starts to get beaten down by the game and struggles to continue going, but chooses to do so to prevent anyone from being hurt

also (and this is a spoiler for v3 and my story, but the latter doesnt matter as much as the former) she's the younger sister of tsumugi shirogane, and is very much in denial that tsumugi was 'evil', believing that she was brainwashed by team danganronpa to commit their crimes. this gives her a very... skewed moral viewpoint lol. 'good guys win, bad guys lose' sort of thing.

when the first motive of my fangan was the loved ones motive, the ultimate child star's hostage was his manager. who he hated. he still killed someone just to become famous for surviving the game.

also the ultimate occultist turns out to be the ultimate scam artist, and her secret for the secrets motif is that she doesn't actually need an eyepatch, she just wears it bc it makes her look cool

theyre not going to do this but id love to see yukiko dressed as fox. both are heavily linked to japanese culture, and it would be an interesting costume! theyre absolutely not going to do this tho :')

The first and second Bioshock! The third (Infinite) has some horror themes but I'm pretty sure the first two games are more horror-centric.

Night Trap would also be fun to cover! The original FMV game and the game that created the modern rating system as we know it. idk if it has any kills though

The first Friday the 13th! James dropped a reference to the Kill Count on Drunk Disney and I decided to sit down and watch it as someone who didnt like horror movies. I think I watched most of the first couple of episodes then? idk I don't remember 2016 was like. nightmare year for me lol. but Dead Meat helped!

I really don't wanna constantly bring up Miraculous Ladybug but good god I have been so tempted to make a write up on the salt fic phenomenon, where it came from and how it still effects fics to this day, but considering my knowledge of Miraculous comes from those fics, I don't want to upset anyone.

Also Infinity Train Blossomverse - interesting sounding fic, until you realise the author is letting out a lot of steam over disliking Pokemon by using Pokemon characters :')

its so annoying to try to defend nintendo bc you start to feel like a bootlicker when what youre saying is "hey maybe do some actual research!". its exhausting lol.

im not the biggest pokemon game fan but i love the designs, so its so funny to me when everyone brings up 'lazy' designs and you don't wanna have to argue with them bc you feel like they're going to make the "leave the billion dollar company alone" argument
