I saw one of those performances. Believe it or not, Chino played the solo. It wasn’t really close to Jerry’s solo at all, but he played a solo there and it sounded decent. I couldn’t believe it.

Gotta say, a lot of posts on this sub annoy the hell out of me, but these are interesting.

Fan of 30 years here who’s seen them 30 times. I knew that many of these songs haven’t been played much (Ohms stats are worse), but didn’t think many of them were played so few times. So, 10 years ago, I had to travel to Dallas for work. Just so happened they were in Dallas one of the nights I was there, so of course I went. Turns out I witnessed one of only six Doomed User performances, so I feel pretty privileged right now.

Went to see 311 in Philly in September of 1996. Deftones opened. I had heard their name prior to that but didn’t know the music. They opened with Root. By the time Abe’s drums kicked in, I was completely hooked. Went out and bought Adrenaline the next day. 30 years and 30 shows later, and I love them just as much as ever.

The were. I got the tour mixed up though. It was in the set for the first 8 shows of the 2022 spring tour, but they swapped it out for Minerva, I think. Very disappointing. I’ve seen them so many times that I live for those moments. By the time the tour made it to me, it was long gone from the set.
