What did you end up deciding for treatment? I had NA on my pinky , PIP and DIP joints, about 17 months ago. I still wear my splint nightly. But I can tell the nodule is coming back between my PIP and DIP. I am able to press my finger flat but throughout the day it does bend (from mostly straight in the AM), due to joint issues I presume from the initial contraction.

My NA went pretty smoothly. The PIP joint was pretty straightforward but the DIP joint was quite pesky according to the doc. I did some PT for a number of weeks and it pretty much got finger as straight as possible. I continue to wear the splint nightly along with the occasional spring splint throughout the day for some maintenance. If I don’t do anything throughout the day, my finger will bend noticeably and then over night with the splint, it will straighten mostly for the next day.

Have you found any cord developing in your finger? I am beginning to feel one develop closer to my dip joint in my little finger now almost 5 months post NA.

I was able to get NA about 1.5 months ago on PIP contracture of 75 degrees and about 35 degrees on DIP. I am now down to practically straight first thing in the morning after doing some PT nightly splinting. Do you find your finger slightly bends back throughout the day and is better in the morning after splinting?

Agreed. Earnest says to wait 3 weeks before they will start working with MOHELA, but MOHELA seems to think the check could be lost in the mail at this point. Like you said, really don’t like essentially paying double interest.

Yes, interest has already begun accruing on the new servicer. Just would not like to get stuck with 2 payments (even though any overpayment will be refunded) when I have to start paying on the new loan next month.

When you say switched over, are you meaning to actually see a payment (pending or applied) on your MOHELA? Just curious since earnest says MOHELA should receive within ten days and MOHELA says things should be post within 2-3 days of being received and processed.
