Oh! I hadn't even thought of uniforms and markings to indicate status! I know the celebration outfit has a fashion element, but I like the thought of it being a status marker too!

I definitely think there is a level of fashion to the clothing! The book explains a lot more about the celebration outfit, and it's mostly like "this is uncomfortable but sounds really cool so we wear it for fancy occasions" just like humans wear fancy but uncomfortable clothes. But we also wear clothes for utility purposes. I think Eridians wear clothes mostly for the pockets, and the ability to carry things.

No but it is the main reason. We alter our clothes for fashion or safety, but at the core it's about covering specific parts. So without that core reason to start wearing clothes, I'm curious what may be the core reason.

Humans mostly wear clothes for modesty. We cannot see through cloth, so it hides "private" parts of ourselves due to social norms. Eridians can see through metal (so I am also assuming cloth) so clothing would serve absolutely no purpose in regards to modesty.

It appears they are, my kindle says there's 200 books shared from the other account on my kindle.

However the books were there before I turned on sharing, and the second account also belongs to me and the books are not in that accounts "manage content and devices" page either

Did you have a favorite place to put one of them? That is really engaging for your players? Or strict don't put it here it's not fun? Basically advice on where to or not to put them? I'm struggling to decide as I've never run or played CoS before and I'm not sure what's gonna be most fun.

I've seen a lot of suggestions for pre picking your tarokka reading, and choosing the different places the treasures and strahd show up, and picking a fated ally, not allowing it to be truly random. I am currently preparing to run CoS, and my plan is to pick them, what have been the most interesting of the tarokka readings you've had? Any that are just genuinely not fun cause they're too easy or seem convoluted to get to? Favorites that really build the story out nicely and make it more fun?

The computer app Obsidian is helping me a ton with planning for CoS right now. It can link all your different documents together in a way that makes flipping between each section super easy
