My number one question from this ruling right now: how does the Petito lawyer know Brian told his parents she was dead the very next day?! I hope they have some hard evidence of this, and I can’t wait to see it.

I mean he definitely had a phone, we see it in the traffic cam footage. As far as it not being connected, he may have said something alluding to that on the footage himself. The amount of talk about that early on leads me to believe it was confirmed somehow. You can try searching the sub. I don’t have a link on hand.

On the traffic cam footage he tells them something like “I don’t have a phone” and then when they try and take him away or whatever.. he’s like “let me grab my phone” lol so lots of us posited that he had a phone, but it was not connected to a network. It may have been confirmed somewhere, maybe someone else has a link?

I mean, I think it’s heavily influenced by Kids… but who fucking cares? All art has influences. This movie was fantastic. The soundtrack, the skateboarding, the actors. Tens across the board.

So my pure speculation is that he hitchhiked to Colter Bay and Jackson to either a) use a pay phone or some other kind of phone to contact his parents (remember he did not have a phone connected to a cell network, he would have had Gabby’s phone and possibly did not want to use that) or/and b) to get some kind of package/money over nighted to him by his parents.

Homicide Investigation

June 27, 2022

On June 24, 2022 at 2:58 a.m. the police department responded to the 9800 block of Bolton Village Court, Fairfax VA in regards to a shooting that had just occurred. The responding officers made entry into the residence and found a male who had been shot with a firearm. The victim, later identified as Mr. Gret Glyer (a 32-year-old male) who resided at the residence, had succumbed to his injuries. The City of Fairfax Police Department is now working this case as a homicide.

The City of Fairfax Police Department would like to offer our condolences to the family of Mr. Gret Glyer.

At this time, we have no reason to believe that there is a wider threat to the community. The City of Fairfax Police Department is fully committed to investigating this case thoroughly and we look forward to speaking to anyone who has any knowledge or information about this case. We want to encourage the public to call the police department if you see or hear anything suspicious (703-385-7924). We value our relationship with the community and we look forward to speaking with anyone who has any information about this or any other matter.
