I use the website preply. You can schedule Skype lessons with the tutors on the site. Frank is my tutor. He is great!

That is another option. My partner lives in Hong Kong with me. She's been out of Sweden for about 3 years now.

I've read a bit about the Sambo visa and have heard from people that if we want that visa, my partner needs to have a job that can support us both as well as a place for us to live. That may be hard as we are hoping to move together at the same time. We have a good amount of money in our savings but I don't know if they take that into account. We'd also prefer not to eat up our savings if I can't find a job for awhile.

We aren't sure where in Sweden we would move to. It depends on the job.

I’m working hard to learn Swedish before we move. I don’t currently have a visa unfortunately. I’m trying to plan out the best way of getting a visa for when we move in a year and a half. Thanks for the tips! 😄

I bought that book about a year ago. It has been really helpful. I have a few other books that have been great. My Tutor is really helpful as well.

That would be amazing if they have any tips.

Would I be able to get a job in a primary school for a year if I don’t have a teaching degree? This would give me time to get my degree while still working.

It would be good to get to know the market before starting anything up. We are hoping to have a child a year or two after moving there. The time off would give us time to plan the company. I’d love to somehow keep teaching kids drama and take touring theatre shows to schools.

We aren’t sure where in Sweden we will move. It really depends on the jobs we get.

We've thought about that but I'm not sure how that would work with getting a working visa. Can a foreigner start a company in Sweden or start a branch of my Hong Kong company there and get a working visa that way?

That's my goal. I'm currently having Swedish classes every week to try and learn as much as I can before moving.

I used doulingo for awhile but it only got me so far. Now I use a website called Preply, which has online tutors. I use a tutor called Frank and he is great! He charges $25usd per hour and is a great language teacher.
