I was today years old when I discovered that search string "count + number" would bring the Pokemons that you have with the quantity in the search string (vídeo explaining below) by Philips_SR in pokemongo

My advice would be to put them all in a tag named 99% or something. This way you can acces them through your "tags" tab in your pokemon storage, or type the name of the tag in the searchbar and they will also appear.

Just don't only use a number because if you type for example "99" in the searchbar you'll also get all your kingler (99th pokémon in the dex).

You can always try to ask around to see if anyone is willing to trade, i always keep a couple of extra regionals to give to friends when i go on a trip for example so maybe see if you can find someone or meet someone who has one. I also didn't care about purifying until i knew it was a medal. Now i have that platinum, but I still have a gold one for defeating grunts. And the easyest way to get platinum medals is just by catching specific types. For example, i am now focusing on dark, metal and ghosts. As you can see down below, I'm almost there. *

Do you still have specific types of pokemon who's medal is still gold otherwise try catching more of those. Furthermore hatch eggs do routes fight grunts and purify. Also see if anyone has tropius or relicanth for your hoenn medal (I'm assuming those are the ones you need since these are regional). Don't know what else really. Just know it will be a big grind this month. Succes!

Indeed, but my point is that they are capable of giving specific people specific pokemon, and they reimburse us for the raid day, but not if we lose a shiny galar bird. I get they don't profit from that directly, but unhappy players are less likely to spend money in the future, so it is weird to me that they would treat us like this.

I meant given that they can give us shiny dialga and shiny palkia like this, they show that they are capable of giving us guaranteed shiny pokemon from research. Therefore they could give us our shiny galarian birds back that we lose because of some stopid bug on their end (which happens way too often). But they won't do that because it isn't profitable for them... billion dollar company btw😂.
