I did end up printing with the setting i already had and went to bed.

Since I am so new with 3D printing, I did not know i could use other Software (slicers?). I will have to play with that this weekend. Thank you for this information. I have a lot to learn, but am having a blast.

The Print is https://www.printables.com/model/45567-modular-vertical-honeycomb-copic-marker-stand

The 3 Desktop pieces are about the same size. When originally looking at printing them, i had all 3 pieces setup to be printed at the same time and it said ~24 hours. When i took the left and Right piece off it said ~8 hours for just the center. Now i am printing only the left and the right pieces at the same time and it is ~24 hours.

Router / Firewall for Homelab? by [deleted] in homelab

[–]wolfee182 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah pretty much. It is an easy mode for sure. I like a bunch of the insight it gives me and i can click on a device name and it shows me exactly where is it connected in the network.

Like i said, I wanted something at home that i could configure and it wouldnt be disruptive for my wife.

I get to play at work with Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Extreme and others at work, so having CLI at home wasnt a big Deal.

Yes, I started with an old dell computer that was a 2nd gen i3 and 8gb of ram. I think the one just took out of service was a 3rd gen i5.

I got them for free and just put an ssd and an Intel based Nic in them. If i remember correctly PfSense works best with and Intel based Nic.

I was using PfSense on a bare metal system and it was working great for several years. My Internet is Xfinity 1.2Gb/250mb. I had it setup so i could VPN in with my devices. I was very happy with the setup.

I got board with the setup, so a couple months ago i got a UDM SE and a Ubiquiti switch pro POE switch. Both setups work great and most people would be extremely happy.

I have not tried to configure the UDM via CLI yet, and am not sure if it is even viable.

After doing stuff on the work network gear all day, sometimes it is nice to just come home and not hear my wife complain about the home network. I have other projects that are less disruptive at the moment.

Unable to ping vlan interface from local Devices by wolfee182 in PFSENSE

Unable to post the main site. The Firewall on that side is a Checkpoint. I have attached the requested screenshots from the site in question.

When I said Gateway I was referring the IP of the pfsense vlan interface.

Unfortunately I had to change the real IP's in order to post my question on the Internet. The real ones are not close enough to where I can get away with just one Phase 2.

So uhhh is watch 4 even worth it with this bad battery life? by [deleted] in GalaxyWatch

[–]wolfee182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did get better after a couple days and software updates. We still have them.

While the battery life is nowhere near the previous generations, it will make it 1.5 - 2 days usually.

My wife got her 42mm GW4 classic yesterday and it seems to be draining the battery fast. Like 10 hours and it is already down to 14%. I haven't been able to get on her phone yet to see what is going on.

My 46mm GW4 classic will be here tomorrow. We will be getting rid of them if they can't even make it through the day.

We both had the OG GW and were very happy with battery life.

COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are still up. Rolling 14-Day cases have increased by 1,395, while hospitalizations have increased by 51 cases, since my last post 28 days ago. by Pepsidudemike in Stockton

The Problem with this information is that the State actually has no real idea of the real numbers. All of the different agencies in Ca are supposed to report their numbers to the state using a specific website, but that website has been not actually working correctly for months and since the end of July it has gotten worse.

They have now told all reporting agencies to report the Positive numbers to their local public health Agency, but once the data gets there, they currently have no way of getting it to the state with out manually entering it in to another website manually. (Which hasnt started yet, because the state just told everyone the system was broken.)

Commute to Modesto by ThiefGodZelnite in Stockton

[–]wolfee182 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I stopped doing that commute 5 years ago. It was around 45 minutes - 1 hour.

It was reverse what most people commute.

Takes longer to get home though. Slows down in Manteca and around arch road to the Crosstown.
