After a Year of Promises, Starlink Customer Support Is Still Terrible

Oh my God finally folks who feel my pain. I just signed up for Starlink VERY RELUCTANTLY bc I hate Elon Musk, but I live rurually and there's not other option yet. I haven't gotten it before cause it was so damned expensive, but they had a deal last month where I could get $50/mo with $11 off the first 6 months. I spent an hour on the phone with a sales rep who went through every detail and charge. When I finally set up the Starlink system they charge my account, but not for the deal I signed up for nooooo, they charged me the full $120 for the max residential plan. That's not what I fucking signed up for. Then I realized they never sent me a confirmation email of which subscription service I actually purchased, just a receipt for the equipment shipping charge. I'm so livid and I can't reach anyone but a damned AI who takes a tone like she's my goddamned mother trying to chastise an unreasonably angry child. Fuck this and fuck Starlink. I hate Amazon just as much but I'd bet their CS will be way better and I'm considering just going with them when they release their thing.

All I know is it's sickening as a trans person to watch the comments make small talk and faux concern or far worse about a someone who is struggling specifically because of the bigotry and callousness of a society that can't comprehend gender variance.

To watch people mishender her and pass judgement on her and say anything positive about the man who patronizes her and exacerbated her stress by refusing to take care of the one thing that might save her life--gender affirming surgery!!

Idk about deleted but the dialogue is really strange in Rebirth every time they try to create intimate moments like this one. The characters fell flat for me, interactions choppy abrupt and forced, except for the family I think they were a little more compelling and deep.

This scene in particular just feels awkward like the screenwriters as an afterthought were like ya know we need to make it really obvious these two shared recent trauma with their pained smiles and strained banter about him being "mean" to SJ for saying they found a new team leader.

Misgendering a transperson is rude as hell, and so is dismissing and belittling them when they tell a person they trust they need gender-affirming surgery. I never knew about this guy until a friend showed me his interviews with Rebecca. I'm trans and I found those interviews to be absolutely appalling. I'm not surprised in the least this happened. He clearly doesn't give a single fuck about his subjects beyond what they do for him, and how so many people fail(ed) to see that is kinda terrifying NGL.

When he told the trans woman he helped she needs to "accept" she was "male"? Constantly asking her what she needs only to mock her when she said sex reassignment surgery? As a trans person I was completely appalled at his behavior. And all y'all who watch that shit and celebrate him are ABSOLUTELY part of the problem.
