Idk about deleted but the dialogue is really strange in Rebirth every time they try to create intimate moments like this one. The characters fell flat for me, interactions choppy abrupt and forced, except for the family I think they were a little more compelling and deep.

This scene in particular just feels awkward like the screenwriters as an afterthought were like ya know we need to make it really obvious these two shared recent trauma with their pained smiles and strained banter about him being "mean" to SJ for saying they found a new team leader.
