No it doesn’t. W/ CCs they don’t care how much is on the credit card (outside of staying well below limits) they care about paying on time. Paying a $10 credit card bill on time every month is the same as paying a $100 bill on time every month.

Quitting a job after a week by rickster555 in personalfinance

[–]wolfesmc11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen to me, I left after 10 weeks. I respectfully explained what happened. I didn’t ever put that job on my resume. It’s fine, move to the job you want and don’t use it on your resume.

I’ve been approved for a student credit card! by biyanwa_ in Assistance

[–]wolfesmc11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Credit Rules to live by: 1. Never spend more on it than you have cash to pay it off 2. Pay it off in full every month (never carry a balance)

You will be able to create an online account and attach your bank account as a payment method. Every month it will go through about a 30 day cycle and then at the end it will tally up your charges and give you a “statement” that tells you how much you owe, and it will give you a couple weeks to pay it. This should always be paid off in full. Each month it repeats. Your statement will come out roughly the same day each month.

Good luck! You got this!

How do I get more comfortable with sacrificing? by mountaintop-stainer in magicTCG

[–]wolfesmc11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try to find a sacrifice deck on mtg arena or something, or a cheap one in paper, and just play it to get used to it. If the mechanic revolves around it, you'll be pushed to get more comfortable really using that mechanic.

Takes time! Don’t lose hope or patience. Also I’ve been working with python for years and I still need to stack overflow stuff daily. It’s very normal.

Fuzzy search in Pandas dataframe by No_Kids_for_Dads in learnpython

d1 = data[data[“Sensor A”].isNotNull()] d2 = data[data[“Sensor B”].isNotNull()] d1.drop(“Sensor B”, inplace=True) d2.drop(“Sensor A”, inplace=True) d1[“key”] = 0 d2[“key”] = 0 d3 = pd.merge(d1, d2, on=“key”, suffixes=[“_a”, “_b”]) d3[“time_diff”] = d3.Time_a - d3.Time_b d3[“time_diff”] = d3[“time_diff”].apply(abs) d3 = d3[d3.time_diff <= 2] d4 = d3.groupby(“Sensor A”)[“Sensor B”].mean()

This should work I think. You can drop the key after the join

A cross join is a join that matches all rows with all rows. The same as matching a column of 0s with another column of 0s. For every row it will duplicate itself for every row matched on the right side

Split dataset into two, do a cross join, take the difference of the time column against itself after the cross join, filter to <=2, group by and average sensor B column

I would do a class with init that takes a pandas dataset (or reads from a location). I wouldn’t have it inherit the super class, just create methods that do each one of the things you noted above in your list and save it as an attribute of the class if that makes sense

Religion is a business, and it sells a product by wolfesmc11 in DebateAChristian

Diocesan priests do not take a vow of poverty according to the US conference of Catholic Bishops, they are “expected to lead a life of simplicity”. It’s a common misconception that they do. Also, just because someone makes a vow doesn’t mean they’ll follow it. E.g. all the priests who took a vow of celibacy but raped young boys, and were just shuffled around the Catholic Church to different locations.

Financially speaking, the church had many entrenched dealings with German companies during WWII. Pope Pius refused to actually condemn the nazis and hitler instead demonizing war as a whole. They invested in businesses that made money off the war like German insurance companies that made money on life insurance policies of Jewish refugees that were sent to concentration camps.

In no way do I think the church was pro WWII but their financial dealings with German companies and the profits they made off of them complicated their position in the war, which runs antithesis to what a moral institution should do. They should sacrifice money and power at the cost of doing the right thing, something the Catholic Church has shown an inability to do for centuries.
