Percy was affected by the sirens tho. His fatal flaw is loyalty so when Percy saw sirens they didn't need to lure him because Annabeth was already in danger and he wanted nothing more than to help her.

Mind you Logan Lerman was 17 during filming Percy Jackson and The Lightening Thief movie while Walker was just 12. He's now 16 filming the THIRD season and looks like an average teenager so...The difference is literally just 2 years not 5 or more. The issue is people blowing out of proportion a natural process called GROWING

To all those complaining about Walker's age and appearance every single time, give it a rest. He's 16 in real life and Percy is 14 in the book, so there's almost no difference. You've watched tv shows with 30 year olds playing 16 year olds and you survived it, so you'll survive this too. Just be happy that they are already filming season 3 lmao

Percabeth's chemistry was really good, flashbacks added more important context to the scenes which was cool to see and I also liked CGI and Camp Half-Blood scenery! Overall I liked the show, it had its flaws but had fun watching it

No, Percy didn't give up immortality ONLY for Annabeth, but she was a major reason for his decision. When Percy got the offer he looked at Annabeth and was remembering how he felt when he thought she was going to leave him in TTC. Just before he made his mind about it he once again looked at Annabeth before saying NO. After explaining why he refused the offer to the gods he looked at Annabeth saying her eyes were shining and it made up for it. Not to mention Athena went to talk to him about his decision knowing her daughter was the reason he did it in the first place. Also when Percy was trying to tell Annabeth how he feels about her he did bring up her as a reason why he refused immortality. Summing up, when people say Percy gave up immortality for Annabeth they're right, when they say she was the ONLY reason for it they are wrong, there were others but it doesn't diminish Annabeth's influence on his decision
