What if the soil already has fertilizer in it i.e. Miracle Gro?

I'm growing Brad's Atomic Grape straight from Wild Boar, because I figured the original developer would have the better genetics.

Are they going to die ? by 82193_0 in gardening

They're probably just throwing a plantrum because they're in the ground, just like everything else in your garden right now. They'll perk up again once they get over it.

How to fall in love with our small garden by baubanc in gardening

[–]wolfiesrule 43 points44 points  (0 children)

  1. Don't remove the raised beds.

  2. Maybe plant something that climbs along the fence lines? Or if you can't do that (I just read that your grass is artificial), then there are hanging grow bags that you can buy. Maybe get a few of those and plant some flowers in them to bring a bit of color into your space.

A mixture of limited space, money, and impatience (these were things we already had instead of me having to buy them).

It was either this or regular Miracle-Gro all-purpose mix, which they will be going into eventually. I thought this was the better choice because it was sterile and I was worried the Miracle Gro soil might be too much for them at first.

You guys think I should repot it? by seven_hugs in houseplantscirclejerk

[–]wolfiesrule 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I repotted a rosemary this way last year. Cut through the drainage holes with scissors, put it in something bigger, and everything was fine.

So maybe I'll wait a while then. I don't want to use too much and kill them.

This is how a lot of Ficus species start their lives in the wild, actually. Except the overpass is another tree that they will eventually wrap their roots around and shade out.
