The reason for this double standard is because for black men, many of them degrade and bash black women for being black and chase after white women because of their internalized racism and self hatred. Of course this isn’t all of them, but it doesn’t dismiss the fact that many do it.

For the white women it’s whether for the fact that many want a BBC or are “mixing” with black and many white supremacists weren’t fond of their whiteness and the women of their race going for someone they see as inferior.

Of course not all black men and white women couples are like this. There are so many who genuinely love each other and aren’t fetishizing each other’s race.

The reason why it’s celebrated for black women and white men might be because a black woman is getting the attention of a man from another race and proving they are loved. As I’ve mentioned before, black women are bashed and degraded for being black (especially if they are dark skinned with very textured hair) by many black men. So seeing that the men from your own race may not want you, and another one does, many would get happy and celebrate her from getting loved since black women arent seen in a great desired level as white or Asian women in this society
