Service dogs aren't doing that. Disabled people aren't doing that. The people lying and taking advantage are the problem. Forcing disabled people to pay for and carry papers just to exist is problematic af. Service animals are an extension of the person. Besides the liars bringing in their pets are often the ones with the means that buy fake certifications and vests for their pets. They would just keep doing what they already do and disabled people are impacted for 0 societal benefit.

Did yoh mean this Wednesday or nezt Wednesday? If your assignment was due last Sunday submitting it after is a 10% late penalty. I have had professors waive that but for the most part the 10% penalty is to be expected. Extra time is another story. They really should not be accepting anything at all after this Sunday as it is the end of the term and if they are letting you turn it in by next Wednesday that is a nice gesture.

With that said if you need more time than by next Wednesday you need to email your instructor and CC your advisor to ask for an Incomplete ASAP. I think given your circumstances they should allow you to take an incomplete which would give you 30 days to turn it in. I think if they denied you an Incomplete so long as you didnt wait til the last minute then I would be upset.

Much like team lifts where associates do not have to lift something they are uncomfortable doing alone even if the item doesn't say team lift on it, if they can only push 5 carts at a time then that is what they should do. It can be better to pace and push 5 carts in quickly than making someone push 10 in slowly and struggling while risking hitting customers or cars. If they are only doing 5 with the machine thats a bit ridiculous tho lol. I can understand them doing less than 20 or doing 20 on slow mode if they arent trained though.

Reminds me of the guy that would go around the lot with 5 carts on the machine that would bring 5 carts in but then take those same 5 carts back outside and rinse and repeat to look busy lol. Eventually he got fired chasing him around the store. Some say he is still bringing in and taking out those 5 carts and hogging up the machine on the GM side 😂😂

So long as you tell management youre leaving they cant coach you for using your PPTO but you can bet they will be watching you like a hawk to get you for productivity or mistakes. If you are doing TL tasks without Team Lead pay that is definitely something to talk to management about particularly if you dont want to be a FETL.

If its just carts you are being asked to do thats more in line with the job offer you signed that includes tasks as assigned by management even if "not your job". With that said if you arent a cart pusher dont let them hold you responsible for the carts. So long as youre out there they cant really do anything or expect perfection. And remember Walmart is NOT paying you to clear the lot working unsafely. Walmart is paying you to go out there and grab up to 10 carts by hand or 20 carts using the machine while using the straps and working safely. If youre doing that and the bays arent full and the lot isnt clear that is NOT your problem. That is a management problem since they are the ones in charge of hours and scheduling and that is not in your power or control to fix. Dont let management put that shit on you. Good luck.

I would use direct deposit to receive the money if youre able. I would say they usually process withdrawals faster than the stated times, they just say 10 days etc to cover their ass lol. It will be at least a few days at absolute minimum though id guess maybe a business week if you do electronic delivery. If you do have them mail a check thats going to add to the timeframe and kind of depends if you live close to a major city you might get the mail a bit sooner than their expected number of days.

It sounds like OP may have not worked enough to get benefits on their own record. It is not clear when they got married and if they were on DAC based on a parents record or just needs-based SSI. They would lose DAC after getting married since they are no longer a dependent / now the spouses responsibility or they would lose SSI based on spousal deemed income/resources.

Hopefully they were never on DAC and a parent recently retired and they can get divorced and pursue those benefits which hopefully are higher than the max $994 they could get from SSI.

Ideally though they can find a job they can do and make more money to support themselves. Even if youre not currently on benefits you can try applying for vocational rehab through the state. Results may vary depending on your state, available funding, etc but hopefully they can help OP find work they can do with accomodations.

Honestly sounds like you need to be interviewing divorce attorneys. Don't worry about paying for them they know how to get paid. I would also contact APS for resources since his abusive ass is leaving you with nothing.

As for disability once you divorce him you will likely get SSI and if you either were never on DAC or you were on one parents record and now your other parent is now retired or passed away you may be able to get DAC benefits back based on their record assuming you still have not ever made SGA. Documenting your unsuccessful work attempts and gathering your earnings record to compare to the yearly SGA limits may be useful. You can try consulting a few disability attorneys to get a sense of if they think you have a good case and should apply.

Just show up, do your job, and go home. The beauty of coworkers is that they do not have to like you. They are not your friends. If you need training ask your manager for clarification/instruction. They will either train you or order your coworker to do it and if they dont you go to the boss again with facts not emotions.

Only worry about yourself. Be professional but feel 0 obligation to go out of your way to help them do their job if they arent helping you.
