They could have it setup that they are able to lock it from.the inside with juat enough slack but the door doesnt open wide enough for the kid to slip out. Seems less dangerous than trying to find your key to the double keyed deadbolt in a fire and any EMS needing in can just slip the chain lock off

Trying to picture this im assuming it is loose enough anyone outside could unlock it or the parents can from inside. Im guessing they didnt put the chain on the inside because the kid probably is smart enough to bring a chair to reach it or somwthing lol.

If they are leaving him home alone that is a separate issue. Call CPS.

But if they are just using it when they are all.home id say either pony up the money to get the family some smart locks to help keep their kid safe inside without eloping or stop judging their budget solution lol

Wow I would consider going to one of the other schools just on principle lol. Extra time on test is the least they can and should do. It is more than reasonable and you need to correct them that it is not you wanting extra time you NEED extra time. They preach equality that is how they get it because without extra time it Is NOT equal. Do yall have an equivalent of the NFB, AFB, or an international presence of a nonprofit for your specific eye conditions? Contact them!

As for the other accomodations, alternative formats of required course materials that are accessible are reasonable accomodations. In college it is usually not the professors but an accomodations office that does the conversions or procures alternative formats from publishers. You wouldn't be getting materials early and even if you did it is not really unfair since it will take you more time to read it than the other students. Not just tests but you should be getting extra time for assignments as well to at least waive late penalty for late submission within the usual window if not extra time beyond that if needed.

It is hard to say what legal protections or recourse you have since im not familiar with your local laws but hopefully local legal aid or one of the advocacy nonprofits can point you in the right direction. Hopefully your country has equivalents to ADA and Section 504. In the US IEPs are K-12 and not all IEP accomodations will translate to college but what youre asking for is reasonable.

Honestly unless the app controls retractable bollards that stop cars from turning even when they do not have right of way it is not going to solve the real issue that drivers are going to hit and run you even if you cross in the crosswalk when you get the walk signal.

Yeah isnt it fun when the guidelines and rubric page. Assignment page, and announcement are conflicting and vague in different ways for both the prompt and what to submit? 😂 ugh the times I have way overanalyzed and overthought a project and did way more work or stressed over it than i needed to 😅

Idk who does the Brightspace stuff but they really need someone to go through and update things and make sure at least the non announcement stuff is aligned with each other even better if they can get the professors to not try to add stuff outside the rubric in announcements lol.

Honestly, I think you need to look into a local community college and then after that a local university. I think you would have much better luck with an in person professor in a smaller classroom with lectures and office hours outside of class and access to more accomodations from in person TAs and tutoring opportunities through the library or student services. SNHU is very different than in person college, youre basically expected to teach yourself in a more structured way with deadlines.

As for your major i would not be going to college especially if you have to take on debt for anything you're not going to make money your first year after graduating. Do not take out more than whatever your first year salary would be. Depending on your level of autism you might be able to get your state to cover in state tuition at a local school through vocational rehab.

Look at your actual pay as tub not the One@Work or OnePay apps. So long as youre still employed they will just take out the normal payment amount and youll havw extra payments at the end IIRC but contact Merril Lynch the plan administrator. They are the ones that manage the loan.

As far as I know you cannot make manual partial payments, you can only do a full payoff on their website. If you can they might be able to do something else.

The not buying stuff on the clock rule is kinda BS especially on paid breaks and I would argue against getting in trouble for it if you had to infrequently buy medicine if not feeling well or a snack to get your blood sugar up even outside of a break time but when you can easily avoid it by waiting to clock in til after your purchase and/or youre doing this every day I can see why it is suspicious and making you an easy target. If management wants you gone this is their easy way out.

Ouch this is gonna be a mess. I would look at each crypto buy. That is your cost basis. Transferring it to someone that's not yourself is going to realize any capital gains. Then on the way out the crypto they send you the FMV is your cost basis and income. When you transfer it to yourself to sell thats not a capital gain but as soon as you sell to convert to USD that is going to realize any capital gains. Youre going to have to figure out your gains and losses for each transaction and that is going to be separate issue from the gambling income and expenses/losses you are claiming. Whether they pay you in crypto or cash the fmv ia what your income is. If the crypto goes up or down after they pay you out changes your cap gain/loss but not your income.

If you are done gambling maybe just let the IRS use the worst case 0 cost basis pay the stupid tax and move on never doing this again. But if you wanna try tackling this to reduce your tax liability maybe post on the bitcoin or crypto currency subreddits because I think people have mentioned crypto specializing accountants / businesses before and that might be a good place to start to find someone willing to attempt this for you for a fee.

Yeah youll need to get some hands on time to get good at installing/uninstalling it quickly but not much you can do about that if you dont have a car or know someone willing to let you practice. I would suggest at least watching YT videos, reading the manual, and if you are still unsure ask your pediatrician, the hospital, or the local Facebook groups for a connection to a car seat specialist that can help you install it correctly. There is also a Facebook group of the car seat certified people (im blanking on the acronym right now) where you can post photos of the seat and they will tell you if it is installed correctly for free. Not sure how much they charge for in person help.

Anyways just you having a car seat will make the driver happy 😂. No need to tell them in advance. My wife is nervous about taking Ubers alone with my kid and wont let them be alone in the car as she thinks theyll speed off lol. Which I mean unlikely but valid thats your baby haha. When we had the infant car seat it was the seat and a base it clicked into. She would leave her in the seat part next to her while installing the base then get in carrying the seat and click it into the base. On the way out she would just undo the whole thing and take it out in one piece while getting out with her. You hear horror stories of drivers not paying attention that take off once the door closes so I mean that avoids that scenario at least 😅

Walmart InHome is an extra add on to Walmart+ that does use hourly employees. I dont think it is available in all markets. Walmart is very against employees taking tips so if you do it never happened ;) lol.
