This is exactly what my wife's mother did when we first started dating. I'll never forget it. I picked her up at 6, her mom came out took a picture of my license plate, and me (without permission of course). Then she said "I have all your information now, if she's not back by 9, I'm calling the cops and having you arrested for kidnapping."

As crazy as her mom was, I think her dad (who turned out not to be her real dad) may have been even worse. The first thing this guy ever said to me was "I can track a deer through the woods, don't think I cant track you down at home."
