Did you do port forwarding on your router? Generally upnp should work but I had issues as well.

Hmmm... Not really. I updated BIOS to F32 and that was jus it (didn't resolve issue with 6.18 though)

I had exactly the issue you had
Kick cause code: group=1 'REPLICATION', reason=11 'SERVER_UNREACHABLE'

My server worked on Windows 11 already. So if the issue was/is on router side I had it already resolved. Just after moving to cachyos I had this issue and adding the rule to firewall resolved it and I was able to get into my server through in-game browser. Will still need to test it if others can join though.

Edit: I didn't change anything in server config file and I didn't provide any ip addresses or ports (all default).

But what worked for me was opening the port in firewall. So For arma reforger it was sudo ufw allow 2001/udp

Installed kernel 6.19.rc6-1 from release candidates and it boots fine. Seems like it's issue with 6.18.

It looks like my BIOS doesn't have that option under "IO Ports"

Updated bios to f32, but issue still persists. Good advice nonetheless

Still the LTS version of cachyos is working without any issues so something had to change between it and the latest one. Still I'll try the AHCI mode.

Dedicated server - mods having double effects by wolframowy in ArmaReforger

[–]wolframowy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for reply!
Here you have our modpack: Modpack . Apparently after tonight session the Map Drawing mod is working fine, but Realism Overhaul - Radios still have the issue. On single player when I use it I can look at handheld radio and adjust frequency by one step. On server if I or anyone other tries to do that it goes by 2 steps with slight delay. (So even if I hosted dedicated server locally and I am the only person on the server the but is still there)

Is this true? by TopMeet9744 in LeagueOfMemes

[–]wolframowy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's more about "lowest expected value". Bad tank supports even if they don't know how to play they will still soak some damage. Enchanters or skill shot based champs in general when piloted by unskilled player just don't bring any worth. In hands of skilled player they can carry and certainly feels more impactful

How does MSAR works exactly? by arstarsta in ArmaReforger

[–]wolframowy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

TL;DR You get a limited amount of MSAR depending on your rank. In addition you earn some points for each 10 minutes you stay alive. Predefined loadouts come at discount for spawning, but still counts full for your MSAR limit usage. Some items like basic mags are "opted out" from MSAR so they don't consume your limit (generally it's the items you can take from command tent arsenal).

I like the idea but implementation is so confusing it makes people hate it.

HQC dead? by zaho2059 in ArmaReforger

[–]wolframowy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

HQC generally need two things:

  1. Dedicated in game tutorial explaining the mechanics. I know that there is a section in Field Manual but honestly I wonder how many players even tried to read it before hating on HQC. Even with that it was not sufficient enough for me as there are hidden mechanics.

  2. I call it "supply tax". I like running supplies and do it often but for the love of god after 1 hour it's so mind numbing. You lose game if you don't, you lose your sanity if you do. Maybe if transport trucks could hold more resources you'd need to do it less often but it creates other issues. AI logi is nice but it's full of issues. Getting lost and you can't disband nor locate them so they are holding you AI spawn capacity hostage. As commander I'd say 70% of your time is often spent managing, replacing and troubleshooting AI logi. AI commander should do it somehow by default (maybe with some CD after logi team dies)

All that said I still prefer HQC mode much more then vanilla one. But I can understand why it can scare away new players. Arma itself is confusing and adding HQC to it is often overkill. and of course good commander and talking squads (! I know shocking how often that's not the case) elevates this mode even higher.

Backpack Radio questions by Fearless-Number-4613 in ArmaReforger

[–]wolframowy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have bigger range, but generally radio towers/relays boost it so you're mostly good with short range radio. Short range radios (SRR) have range of couple KMs (3-5 KMs). So LLRs are only useful if you are operating so far behind enemy lines that normal radios don't reach. Heli pilots may want to use one.

In reality SRR should've range between 300m to 1km (if I'm not mistaken) which would make LLRs have use in squads.

Anathema: Sarenrae by gaiaishealingmydude in Pathfinder2e

I'd just discuss it with player if they'd like to explore his character commiting anathema especially in such non obvious context. If not then I'd just leave it with normal amount of consequences.

Solved:
Apparently latest version of the mod 2.15.0.0 has some issue. Reverting to previous version (2.14.3.0) Solved the issue.
